The Corgi (or Welsh Corgi) originated in Wales and is a herding dog. According to Wikipedia.com, they were bred to herd cattle and would nip at the heels of the cattle to keep them moving. A folk legend says that corgis were gifts from woodland fairies, and the markings on the dogs were left by fairy saddles and harnesses. Corgis are smart, alert, agile, and affectionate. IN this video, we see a corgi doing what he was meant to do – herd, but this corgi isn’t herding cows, he has two ducks to deal with. At first, it appears like the little dog has forgotten how to herd! Sometimes, it looks like the dog is playing with the ducks, not herding them! Take a look at this video! Other times it would seem that the ducks are herding him – right under the table! But then, boom, the dog has both ducks safely in their pen! Love the satisfied look on his face! Share away, people!

Baby birds (like turkeys, ducks, and geese) imprint on the first large, moving object they see, according to dangleason.wordpress.com, that ‘object’ is usually the mother. Their nest mates are moving, but not big enough for imprinting to occur. The website also mentioned a story about a duck that had imprinted on a tractor! The duck followed the tractor around, and when he was older, did some courtship displays in front of it! Imprinting is a strong bond. In this video, we see Nibbles, the Rouen, greet Johnny after school. Nibbles’ mom had died before he had hatched; Nibbles imprinted on Johnny! You can see Nibbles’ head searching and searching once the bus arrives and he squawks for joy when he sees Johnny! Take a look at this video! Sometimes it’s really amazing the lengths that police officers will go to help everything in their community. Notice that I said “everything” and not “everyone”. That’s because in this video the police officers aren’t helping people. No, these two officers from the Saskatoon Police Service noticed that a family of twelve ducks was going to have quite the difficult time getting to their home at the South Saskatchewan River. The officers wanted to make sure that the ducks wouldn’t be harmed during their journey, so they provided them with a police escort! That way the officers would know that the ducks wouldn’t be trampled by hurrying human feet, or crushed to death by the wheels of a large car. For more on this story, check out the video below! At Prairie Mountain School in Oregon, there’s one thing you don’t want to miss – the duck walk, or the duck march, as it appears. You see, every year, this one duck lays her eggs in the school’s courtyard and because the courtyard is boxed in, there’s no way for the mommy duck to come out without being escorted. So every year this is what happens – mommy duck lays eggs, her eggs hatch, then mommy duck and her ducklings are led on a walk by a teacher, from school to freedom! Because the duck visits this school every year, the duck march has become quite an occasion where all children gather to see the duck family off to freedom! Take a look at this video The duck family is led to a nearby wetland where mommy duck peacefully raises her young ones, then returns back to school when she wants to lay eggs! The teachers, staff and students always look forward to welcoming her and then escorting them back home! Share away, people.

Nothing is more adorable than seeing baby animals sleeping. Seeing them at peace is one of the best feelings in the world, and can make our days that much better. But when they start to snore, that definitely makes our day. Have you ever heard a duck snore before? How about a duckling? This little duckling fell asleep in his owner’s lap, probably after a nice swim around the pool, and it doesn’t take long before he’s snoring away. One wouldn’t think that a duckling this size would be capable of such a noise, but the video reveals it to be true. Who knows what he’ll be like when he’s older. His owners may not let him sleep in their laps anymore if this snoring of his is only going to get louder and louder from here on in! Take a look at this video! A man claims to have found this duckling wandering about all alone outside his house and that’s when he decided to rescue it. The duckling was so tiny the man knew it would be very difficult for it to fend for itself. Now the duckling thinks that the man is his daddy so wherever the man goes, the duckling follows! The only thing the duckling wants is to be with his daddy! But the best part is when the little duckling was sitting on his daddy’s lap… it fell asleep! The entire world knows now just how much this duckling loves his daddy and just how much he wants to be with him all the time! This man, on the other hand, deserves to be recognized for rescuing this tiny life and giving it a second chance. Take a look at this video! Incredible, isn’t it?
