Is there anything better than your favorite song? Beautiful is an amazing thing. The sweet melodies, meaningful lyrics, and the emotions stirred within are all things that make us fall in love with a tune. Music can help soothe and calm us, it can help us get through the times we thought we would never survive. They may have a few difficulties with getting around, but they make the best of what they have and seem to do very well at it. Jasmine is a cat with a beautiful coat, a lovely disposition, and she’s also blind. She was found as a stray wandering the streets, and her rescuers discovered her condition. Duffy is an Irish Terrier who had been facing a ton of very serious medical issues. Rescuers learned within a few days that not only was he blind, but he also suffered from canine diabetes. Fortunately for the Duffster, doctors were able to get his diabetes under control. However, no one was sure whether he’d ever actually be able to see his new family. So, his compassionate new parents decided to take matters into their own hands, investing in surgery that just might give Duffy the chance to use his eyes again. And guess what? It worked. In the heartwarming video below, watch the moment Duffy slowly realizes he can see again. A smile spreads across his face. He is so excited, emotional and grateful – and it’s enough to brings tears to my eyes. Murdock the Pit Bull puppy was born with a disorder that caused him blindness. But even though he is blind, Murdock doesn’t let his blindness hold him back. Murdock was rescued by  Fresno Bully Rescue , and his foster mom,  Noelani Guerrero , helped him along the way. Murdock’s foster mom thinks that he is very inspiring, and so do we! Murdock may be blind, but he loves to explore his surroundings. Since he doesn’t have eyes for that, he uses his nose instead, which we think is pretty incredible.
