He Spotted A Rabbit In His Yard One Day That Sent Chills Down His Spine

What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when you think about bunnies? Let me guess, epic fluffiness? Fluffy tails? Long ears? Well, let me tell you, chances are, you’ve never seen this kind of bunny before and it’s heartbreaking, honestly. This Redditor always has bunnies visit him, but one day when he saw this bunny, he was shocked. You would be too, trust me. When he first saw the bunny, everything seemed to be okay, but when he saw the face, he ran. The bunny was covered in horns. No, the bunny wasn’t born with horns, in fact he was suffering from a virus called “cottontail rabbit papillomavirus” (CRPV). Those aren’t horns, they’re actually massive tumors that prevent the rabbit from eating, literally starving them to death. A Marine Was Raking Leaves When He Found A Baby Bunny. What Happened Next Is So Heartwarming!

When you work in the military, there are plenty of things that can take you by surprise. If you’ve been following your training carefully enough, you’re prepared for any situation at hand. It could mean the difference between life and death, and it’s all up to how well you can perform what you’ve been taught. But nothing could prepare this marine for what he was about to face. When he was raking leaves one day, what he found underneath took him completely by surprise and changed his life forever. It was a litter of baby bunnies. He found their dead mother nearby, and not wanting the babies to suffer, decided to take them in. He gathered them up and made a warm nest for them out of some blankets and sweaters while he looked up how to take care of them. He started off by bottle feeding them ever day until they became used to him. He’d bonded with them so quickly that he even gave them names: Steven, Raymond, Vaughn, and James. You can see from the video below just...

This huge rabbit is looking for a home

Scottish SPCA via Facebook An adorable 7-month-old continental giant rabbit named Atlas needs a new home.  He's about the size of a dog (westie) right now and will keep growing, according to the Scottish SPCA . The SPCA's center in Glasgow put out a call on social media, saying they are looking for a specific home for Atlas based on his size and breed. He's been described as loving attention and cuddles and making people laugh with his mischievous demeanor. "A standard rabbit hutch won’t do so his new owner will need plenty of space for him. Atlas needs an owner with the knowledge to properly care for him, so ideally someone who has kept a continental giant before," said Anna O’Donnell, manager of the center.
