They Found Her Lying “Lifeless” In A Paddock… But Her Will To Survive Was Un-baa-lievable!

In Victoria, Australia, a couple was driving down the road when a sad sight caught their attention. They thought that they were looking at the corpse of a sheep, so they stopped the car to check on the poor animal. Then, they saw the sheep’s leg twitch. Image Credit: Edgar’s Mission Without hesitation the couple called Pam Ahern, who is the founder of Edgar’s Mission. That local animal shelter would more than likely have the capabilities to care for this emaciated and dying sheep. Image Credit: Edgar’s Mission But there was a problem — Pam was hours away taking care of a sick calf. The couple tried to get in contact with other organizations. When they drove by hours later, the sheep was still in the same spot. Image Credit: Edgar’s Mission The couple eventually sent a picture to Pam, and she came as quickly as she could. The sheep was on the brink of death, and there was very little hope that she would survive. Image Credit: Edgar’s Mission The named the sheep Pos...

See What This Fluffy Sheep Does When She Want Some Back Scratches!

It really is true that some of the best things in life are free. Hugs, kisses, and the occasional back scratch can make our moods better by a thousandfold. And that’s all this sheep wanted. One would think that a sheep would be content with rubbing itself against a fence post in order to get what she needs, but all she has to do is ask! The sheep seems quite happy with the scratches he’s getting from this person, but when they stop all the fun ends. But the sheep gestures to her back with the nod of her head, as if he’s forgotten what he’s supposed to be doing, and he kindly obliges her again. Of course, she’s not really asking for much. Take a look at this video! It must be difficult to get rid of that itch under all that wool, but she can be thankful those human fingers can get just the right spot. Share away, people!

Child Sees A Pregnant Sheep, But When Mom Tells Her To Do THIS? Speechless.

Living on a farm is hard work, but the exposure to all the different animals can teach a child a lot of responsibility. There’s animals to be fed, groomed and walked so that they can stay happy and healthy. And Lilly is certainly living up to her responsibilities. When one of the resident sheep of the farm was ready to give birth, Lilly stepped right in to lend a hand. Literally. This isn’t the first lamb she’s helped to give birth to either, and the mama sheep sits calmly by while Lilly helps to get her baby out. She seems to have a little difficulty, given how slippery the lamb must feel, but she manages to pull through on her own. Take a look at this video! Lilly definitely has the makings for a little farmer within her, and it’s likely she’ll continue to take up the calling with her mother, helping around where she can. Share away, people!

Baby Elephant Loses His Mom. Now Watch Who Sneaks Up Behind Him On The Right…

Elephants understand the importance of building bonds with their kind. They provide them with the emotional support that they need in order to thrive. But with poaching, there are many elephants who end up being raised without their mothers. Not having this bond can leave them with holes in their hearts that cannot be easily repaired. But thankfully, there are other animals who are willing to take their place. This baby elephant was abandoned by its herd and was taken in by rescuers in order to give him a second chance at life. But even with people to care for him, he still wasn’t eating. That’s when he met and became friends with Albert the sheep, and they have been together ever since. Take a look at this video Within a few weeks of meeting Albert, the elephant was recovering physically and emotionally, as he started to eat and drink milk again. Share away, people!

I Watched This Video For A Full Minute. Then I Realized 300 Sets Of Eyes Were Staring Back…

Flying drones have slowly worked its way into the consumer market, where people can buy small remote control flying vehicles that they can attach professional cameras to. The resulting shots from these devices have been amazing, but nothing’s more wonderful than what you’re about to see. Along with some soothing music, we see herds and herds of sheep grazing in the countryside. No one believed that such a sight would bring us so much peace, to see these animals doing what they do every day. You can see the tiny black flecks of shepherd dogs steering them in the right directions. Take a look at this video! It’s still mesmerizing to watch the hundreds of animals moving into the next pasture, where they have more green grass that they can eat. It’s almost like watching grains of sand in an hourglass, giving our eyes something mindless to follow. Share away, people!
