Two Lion Brothers Freed From Life Of Cruelty Embrace One Another

Image Credit: Pat Craig / YouTube The life of a circus animal can often be one of incredible cruelty and sadness. Pancho and Temuco are brothers – and they are lions that used to live as circus performers in Bolivia. They were found starving and had endured hardships for years. The brothers were rescued by Animal Defenders International and are finally free to enjoy the simple things in life – like some fresh straw. Pancho and Temuco were brought to the ADI sanctuary in the United States, and they now are very happy and live together. The joy that fills the two lions is very easy to see in the video – look how they nuzzle and play with each other! It warms my heart to see these two big cats be so affectionate with each other! Take a look at this video Knowing how hard their lives were before – it is just an amazing feeling to know that they are now well-fed and loved and can live out their lives in comfort.

Zoo Accidentally Chops Off Part Of Lion’s Tail During Kids’ Show

Zawadi, a male lion, lost part of his tail during a big cat show at the Oregon Zoo ! On Monday, the big cat entered the glassed-in room, and when the hydraulic door slammed shut it cut off his tail just below the tuft. The zookeeper kept the show going even though people were saying that the lion’s tail was bleeding – a lot. You can hear a buzz in the room. It seems like the show ran its course and eventually all the lions left the room. Zoo veterinarian Tim Storms said it was a small injury, but they are taking it seriously, and Zawadi is expected to make a full recovery. Those kids are not going to remember what the zookeeper said – they are going to remember that the lion got hurt and was bleeding. Take a look at this video Hydraulic doors are not safe. Something needs to be done before something else, more tragic happens. Share away, people.

She Let Her Baby Stand Near A Lion’s Enclosure. When The Lion Charged? My Heart Stopped.

Lions, tigers, and bears – oh my! Lions are majestic and ferocious wild animals. Many animals quake in their ‘boots’ if they hear a lion roar – the roar of a male lion can travel several miles. The females hunt at night in groups (2 or 3), they silently stalk, surround, and then kill their prey. This video was taken at Chiba Zoological Park, it shows a beautiful male lion behind a glass wall. The lion sees the little child in yellow walking in front of the glass, you can see the lion get ready to pounce (just like your cat at home does!) and then just when the kid turns his back, the lions rushes at the glass! Take a look at this terrifying video What a terrifying moment, but the glass does its job, and the child is safe. Some people claim the lion was just playing – not likely! How many lions have we seen ‘playing’ with children!? Share away, people.

Lion Cub Rests In The Arms Of His Friend, But Watch His Paws When The Man Turns His Heads…

Approaching a wild animal is more than anyone could bargain for. It takes a lot of courage to even want to be in their presence, and the unpredictable can happen. But when you’re this guy who has been around them all his life, there are more benefits than just getting to see these animals in the flesh. Watch the video of this lion cub and his best human friend. They seem absolutely inseparable, and the fun that they’re having is one we could only imagine from a feline this size. When he asks for a hug, the big lion cub happily flops onto his chest and wraps her arms around him for the best hug in the world. Take a look at this video! If this doesn't put a smile on your face nothing will. Posted by Amazing World & Architecture on Friday, January 15, 2016 She even gives his shoulder a quick nibble and bats at his face with her huge paws, just like a normal cat would. Almost nothing could tear these two apart. Share away, people!

This Lion Was Born With A Disability, But Someone Forgot To Tell This Puppy. The Result Is Magical.

Wild animals who are born with disabilities rarely ever last very long. But with the efforts of conservation societies, they have the chance of having a real lives, even if they don’t have the freedom of their counterparts. That’s what happened to a 500-pound lion named Bonedigger, but little did he know how awesome his life was going to be with his very own pup at his side. The large male lion was born with a bone disease that left him partially disabled. Not wanting the large feline to succumb, he was given a best friend to help him through his troubles. Image Credit: Boredom Therapy At only four weeks old, he was introduced to Milo when he was still a puppy, and the two have been inseparable ever since. It’s five years later, and they’re still by each other’s side, helping them through thick and thin. Milo isn’t the only one to provide some sympathy towards the lion’s plight either.
