She Visited A Chained Dog Every Day Until The Dog Disappeared. But That Led To Something Amazing.

Jes is a member of PETA, and she feels incredibly strongly about the animals in her life. For years, one such animal was a dog named Edith. Jes saw Edith chained up day after day, so she started visiting the poor dog. She would bring the loving pooch treats, food, water, and once she even brought a doghouse to the trapped dog. Then, one day Edith’s family moved and took the dog with them. PETA spent a lot of time and energy tracking Edith down, and in March of 2016 her owner’s officially gave Edith to PETA because they were moving once again. This is an incredible and touching story, and if you check out the video below you can watch it all in close detail, and I’m sure that you’ll fall in love with Edith just the way that Jes did. Take a look! Now Edith and Jes are reunited and the two of them couldn’t possibly be happier! Share away, people!

Shelter Reunites A War Veteran With His Two Beloved Dogs

When Joshua returned home from Afghanistan, the air force veteran suffered from terrible nightmares and other PTSD symptoms. After seven months of struggling, Josh needed a fresh start in California — but it would mean he’d have to leave his two beloved dogs in Louisiana while he got back on his feet. “Just going from a war zone to a civilian life and coming back, you feel totally isolated. You feel totally alone. You feel cut off from everything.” His dogs, however, were his salvation. The separation was devastating for Joshua, but he knew it was for the best. “Every day I wake up without them snuggled up underneath my blankets is a strange day,” he said. “Every day I don’t have to walk a dog is a wrong day.” Two months later, Josh was ready to take care of Panda and Momma again, but he needed help transferring them across the country. Enter an animal hero named Mariah, who volunteered to drive Joshua’s pups all the way from Louisiana to California. When Mariah picked the dogs up, i...

Family's missing pets tortured as 'bait dogs' reunited with their owner

In Arlington, Texas, a family were happily reunited with their missing dogs after one year, however the circumstances were different and no one can be sure what horrible experiences the dogs had to experience, reports CbsLocalNews. In a miraculous recovery, emaciated Tank and and Bowser had been found wandering along a country road in Ennis. The rescue group Cody's Friends Rescue offered to help them. Because the dogs had microchips, the organization was able to track down their family, and not long after the discovery of the dogs' identities, a telephone call came into their owner, Laurie Lyles. “We found your dogs. I do want to warn you that they are not in good shape," stated Cody's Friends Rescue, Nancy Stephenson. Besides having been starved, Tank and Bowser were covered in scars as if they had been fighting for their lives. Rescuers think the dogs had been used as bait dogs to train other dogs for fighting. Originally, there was concern if the personalities o...

See Woman's Emotional Reunion With Dog That Was Mistakenly Adopted By Another Family

After a long, agonizing saga of being lost and found, a Shetland Sheepdog has finally been reunited with its rightful owner. "You're home baby," sobbed 71-year-old Sharon Robinson as hugged her Sheltie named Tipsy. "Oh, Tipsy," she said as INSIDE EDITION documented the joyous, and tearful, moment. The Stocton, California, woman had been searching for her beloved miniature Collie since the dog disappeared in December from her home. The dog did not have a collar or microchip. She and her husband, Larry, 73, had been out of town when her son called to say Tipsy had somehow escaped from the couple's fenced-in yard. The loss was heartbreaking, said Robinson, noting that her days were marked by crying in the morning and crying every night. She says she visited the local animal shelter several times, but didn't find Tipsy, she said. Then she learned the dog had been transferred to another shelter, located about an hour away. Tipsy had already b...
