Deer can be found all over the world. There are a variety of deer – but they are all generally gentle and reserved. Deer tend to keep to themselves and are very self-sufficient. They know how to forage and how to avoid predators. But, seeing such a graceful creature hurt or in distress can be rather upsetting to people. Some construction workers found a deer trapped in a mud pit and knew they had to help. The deer was extremely scared and exhausted from trying to free itself. One of the biggest challenges the workers faced was getting the deer calm enough so they could help. (Warning this video contains strong language that may not be suitable for everyone). Coming across an animal in your backyard can be a special treat. It’s made even more special when they let you get close to them. But this little boy probably gets the most unique experience that every kid probably dreams about. While outside with his parents, there’s a very calm deer just standing in the middle of their flowers. She doesn’t move even when the little boy gets close to her, as if she can sense that he doesn’t mean her any harm. When he tries to reach for the watering can, she reaches out and gives his little ear a nibble. He doesn’t know what to make of that and steps back. He just wants to tend to his garden, but she seems more adamant about scoping him out. Being close to nature can give us an affinity for the animals that live in our area. We take the extra care that is necessary to maintain their habits and try not to encroach on their territories as much as possible. And even though some animals may seem cute and cuddly, it’s best not to get too close to them. But when these deer hear their favorite human beckoning to them, they know what’s up. These magnificent creatures come bounding up to get a meal. Many of them are content to eat right from the ground, while others don’t mind sticking their heads into the feed bucket to get to the good stuff first. These animals are still a little wary of her presence, a few of them keeping their distance, but they seem quite thankful for the meal she puts out for them. Take a look at this video! The wild – a place where wild animals call home, but where is this place? Haven’t humans intruded in many wild animals’ privacy already? We’ve chopped down trees, built industries and thus forced wild animals out of their house, haven’t we? The video you’re about to see below is the consequence of this – about not giving wild animals their space. When a man called Chad Anderson was driving down Cabbage Hill outside Pendleton in Oregon, he noticed a heartbreaking sight. A poor baby deer, a fawn, was stuck in the boulder catch fence of the highway. He knew that he was meant to be there at that time to help the fawn free itself. Chad didn’t want to just drive way, instead he got down and worked until the fawn was free. Take a look at this video Chad knew that leaving a baby fawn out there wasn’t the right thing to do, so he protected it until the Fish and Wildlife Services came to collect it. Getting to encounter wildlife can be a once in a lifetime experience, but getting to see the same ones every day is more than anyone could bargain for. To one family, it seems a mundane experience, but for the rest of the world, we may feel a little jealous. Every day between the hours of three and five, this family gets treated with a special visit from the lovely doe and her babies. She’s known them a while now, as it’s obvious how unafraid she is of them. She hops over the fence right into their yard, and starts munching on apples right out of their hands.
