Man Takes Beloved Dog On The Most Incredible Journey Through Life

“When someone you love walks through the door, even if it happens five times a day, you should go totally insane with joy.”

The video below, entitled “Denali,” is told from the point of view of a dog. It’s a gorgeous expression of love, gratitude, and friendship — and the journey a dog named Denali took with his owner, surfer/photographer Ben Moon.

It was unexpected love at first sight when Ben first met Denali, but it was undeniable. After Ben and his girlfriend broke up, Ben left Portland, OR to begin living as a free-spirited nomad in the high deserts of Bend, OR. Denali went, too. In fact, he everywhere with Ben. From hikes to beaches, the bonded duo traveled throughout the western United States. It was a life full of adventure, freedom, and joy.

In June 2004, tragedy struck. Ben was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. Denali stood faithfully by his side, refusing to leave the hospital room. Throughout the surgeries, treatments, and procedures, there was Denali, resting gently beside Ben. The dog’s healing power played a huge role in Ben’s recovery.

Denali had been a big part of Ben’s photography, even taking his rightful place on magazine covers throughout the years. In early 2014, Denali himself endured cancer, and Ben promised to never let him suffer. According to Ruffwear, he told him it was okay to let go. But after production began for the “Denali” film a week later — the very video you’re about to see — Ben asked Denali if he could stick around for another month. Exactly one month later, at midnight, Denali developed a bad cough. Moon and Denali played on the beach the next day. The following morning he gave Ben the look — it was time to go.

Denali passed away at age 14 1/2 years old. Celebrate his life — and the incredible journey that comes with owning a dog – and please SHARE this video with your friends on Facebook.

Tesco: Ditch palm oil in your own-brand products!

>>>SIGN PETITION HERE<<< My name is Oscar, I’m 15 and I want to do everything I can to protect our environment .  I was really upset and angry when I found out about the huge deforestation that is involved in the palm oil industry,  and that’s why I’m calling on Tesco to ditch palm oil from their own-brand products. Iceland has already banned palm oil from their own brand products, so we know that this is possible for Tesco too. As the largest supermarket in the UK (and using over 40,000 tonnes of palm oil every year!), Tesco has an opportunity to set an example to other supermarkets and food producers that  destroying swathes of forests for palm oil is not acceptable. I run a online cause called ‘Justice4Earth’ ( @justice4earth  on Instagram and  @justice4earth  on Twitter) where I raise awareness about environmental issues. I found out that palm oil is literally everywhere: from shampoos, toothpastes and detergents to sandwiches, chocolate, biscuits a

SIGN NOW! BAN THE SALE OF CRUEL ‘LIVE ANIMAL’ KEYCHAINS

>>> Sign the petition now to tell China to ban live animal keychains! <<< Turtles, fish and lizards are being stuffed and sealed into plastic bags and sold on the streets as keychains in China. The cost of these animals lives? About $1.50. Swimming in a small pool of colored water, the animals only last until the oxygen is used up. Then, they can theoretically be released and kept as pets – although it’s doubtful that the same people who think an animal makes a nifty trinket have the slightest clue about how to properly care for them. In an interview with CNN, David Neale, animal welfare director of Animals Asia said, “Lack of food and diminishing oxygen concentrations within both the water and the small amount of air in these plastic pouches will cause the animals to die in a relatively short period of time after the pouches are sealed.” 😠So Cruel😠 ACTUAL REAL LIVE ANIMALS are being sealed into tiny plastic pouches and sold as f**king keycha

Does The Public Fear Pit Bulls? My Heart Was Torn To Pieces At 1:56.

It’s not uncommon to read or watch content that describes Pit Bull dogs as vicious, aggressive, or dangerous. But the truth is far from that. In reality, a temperament study found that Pit Bulls scored second highest in terms of tolerance. So where does all the unfair bias come from? In an effort to combat these ideas, this YouTuber conducted a social experiment where he walked through the same neighborhood twice – once with a Pit Bull and the other with an Australian Shepherd. The frightened and sometimes painfully, downright ignorant responses to the Pit Bull only proves the upsetting stereotyping against these loving dogs! Take a look at this video It’s important to remember that there are no bad dogs, only bad people. Each individual pup is different and most have nothing but love to give!
