Surprised Veteran Learns He’ll Get His Beloved Dogs Back After Hospital Stay

This is such an unbelievable story that I couldn’t get through the video without crying. Here, we meet an elderly veteran from Delaware who, back in September of 2015, suffered a heart attack. Due to his necessary hospital stay, the man was unable to care for his two beloved dogs, Bailey and Blaze.

Enter the First State Animal Center and SPCA, a shelter located inside a PetSmart store. The shelter volunteered to take care of Bailey and Blaze until the owner (whose name has not been identified) was released from the hospital and back on his feet. But weeks went by. Still, the man was too ill to care for the dogs, and so the pups were eventually put up for adoption. But fate had plans of its own. When the owner was released from the hospital, he breathed a heavy sigh of relief; surprisingly, Bailey and Blaze were still sitting there in the shelter.

So the man went to the shelter with every intention of getting his dogs back — but he needed a few more days to gather up the adoption fees ($250) needed to do so. The next day, he returned to the shelter, still needing more time to collect the money.

But little did the old veteran know that a huge surprise was in store — and now the footage is going viral. Scroll down to see what happened next…

When a veteran was released from the hospital after suffering a heart attack, he went to the shelter to visit his two beloved dogs. Too much time had passed since he’d been able to care for them, so the shelter had to put Bailey and Blaze up for adoption.

The man was desperately trying to collect the adoption fees, but was having a difficult time. The clock was ticking; Bailey and Blaze are young, affectionate, playful dogs, and it was just a matter of time before a new family stepped in to adopt them…

…but after a couple of days, the PetSmart employee told the man that Bailey and Blaze were his to take home. No money needed. No strings attached.

As it turned out, a woman inside the PetSmart was so touched to see the man reunite with his dogs that she did something incredible. The night before the man came back to the shelter for a second time, volunteers had already used their own money to pay for the dogs’ adoption fees, along with food, treats, toys, and much more.

The veteran was dumbfounded.

But the kindness continues to pour in, and strangers from all over the country are chipping in with food and gas cards for the veteran.

Not only does he have his family back, but his faith in humanity has been restored completely.

Tesco: Ditch palm oil in your own-brand products!

>>>SIGN PETITION HERE<<< My name is Oscar, I’m 15 and I want to do everything I can to protect our environment .  I was really upset and angry when I found out about the huge deforestation that is involved in the palm oil industry,  and that’s why I’m calling on Tesco to ditch palm oil from their own-brand products. Iceland has already banned palm oil from their own brand products, so we know that this is possible for Tesco too. As the largest supermarket in the UK (and using over 40,000 tonnes of palm oil every year!), Tesco has an opportunity to set an example to other supermarkets and food producers that  destroying swathes of forests for palm oil is not acceptable. I run a online cause called ‘Justice4Earth’ ( @justice4earth  on Instagram and  @justice4earth  on Twitter) where I raise awareness about environmental issues. I found out that palm oil is literally everywhere: from shampoos, toothpastes and detergents to sandwiches, chocolate, biscuits a

SIGN NOW! BAN THE SALE OF CRUEL ‘LIVE ANIMAL’ KEYCHAINS

>>> Sign the petition now to tell China to ban live animal keychains! <<< Turtles, fish and lizards are being stuffed and sealed into plastic bags and sold on the streets as keychains in China. The cost of these animals lives? About $1.50. Swimming in a small pool of colored water, the animals only last until the oxygen is used up. Then, they can theoretically be released and kept as pets – although it’s doubtful that the same people who think an animal makes a nifty trinket have the slightest clue about how to properly care for them. In an interview with CNN, David Neale, animal welfare director of Animals Asia said, “Lack of food and diminishing oxygen concentrations within both the water and the small amount of air in these plastic pouches will cause the animals to die in a relatively short period of time after the pouches are sealed.” 😠So Cruel😠 ACTUAL REAL LIVE ANIMALS are being sealed into tiny plastic pouches and sold as f**king keycha

Does The Public Fear Pit Bulls? My Heart Was Torn To Pieces At 1:56.

It’s not uncommon to read or watch content that describes Pit Bull dogs as vicious, aggressive, or dangerous. But the truth is far from that. In reality, a temperament study found that Pit Bulls scored second highest in terms of tolerance. So where does all the unfair bias come from? In an effort to combat these ideas, this YouTuber conducted a social experiment where he walked through the same neighborhood twice – once with a Pit Bull and the other with an Australian Shepherd. The frightened and sometimes painfully, downright ignorant responses to the Pit Bull only proves the upsetting stereotyping against these loving dogs! Take a look at this video It’s important to remember that there are no bad dogs, only bad people. Each individual pup is different and most have nothing but love to give!
