Baby Goat Spends Her First Day In The World And CAN'T Handle It

At the Catskill Animal Sanctuary in New York, a baby goat named Violet was born ... and immediately ready to start her exciting life.

On Violet's first day out and about in the great big world, rocking the most adorable sweater, she wasted NO time.

She instantly started running ...

... and once she started, she DEFINITELY didn't want to stop — except sometimes for cuddles ...

At one point, Violet even found a rock, and climbed it ALL by herself ...

It may have only been her first day, but Violet learned pretty quickly how incredibly fun the world is. It seems like every day that she's here is going to be the grandest of adventures ... and hopefully, she'll always be wearing that sweater, too.

It’s one of the most sorrowful sounds you’ll ever hear, but it’s also a sad reality check for anyone who thinks protected species are safe from illegal poaching. In a video released this in July, a baby rhino named Davi cries for his mother after she was shot and killed by poachers. Most rhinos spend at least three years with their mothers before weaning, the Dodo reports, but Davi’s childhood was cut short at just 8 months old.
