But this reason will probably make you both mad and sad at the same time. Nik Nak was abandoned at a shelter, simply because he was “too yucky.”

The owners even suggested that the dog should be put down and that the world would be a better place without him. What an awful thing to say! Thankfully, this canine is no longer in their care and can get some real love for a change. They gave Nik Nak his very first bath, and treated his skin so that he’d have less scabs on his face.
