A Little Bird Wakes Up Her Cat BFF And His Reaction Is Unexpected!

Taking a catnap is the highlight of any feline’s day. Especially if there’s a good spot of sun around to lounge in, it can be the best feeling in the world. But some naps are meant to be interrupted, and not many are in this adorable way.

This cat’s taking a wonderful nap on a wooden mat, with a cute little bird in the foreground. It seems the little birdie’s bored, because he soon wanders up to the feline and starts tapping the cat’s face. Didn’t anyone tell him that cats eat creatures like him for breakfast? Seems not, as even when the cat tries to pull away and go back to sleep, the bird doesn’t seem to get the hint.

He offers a little bit of grooming to the cat’s paws, but he doesn’t want that either. Eventually, the cat stops trying to get the bird to leave him alone and accepts his fate. Share away, people!

It’s one of the most sorrowful sounds you’ll ever hear, but it’s also a sad reality check for anyone who thinks protected species are safe from illegal poaching. In a video released this in July, a baby rhino named Davi cries for his mother after she was shot and killed by poachers. Most rhinos spend at least three years with their mothers before weaning, the Dodo reports, but Davi’s childhood was cut short at just 8 months old.
