There’s something to be said for the markings that animals have on their bodies. They can be quite unique, and some of them even look like something else. This particular marking will simply blow your mind away. This chestnut foal is really two horses in one.
He isn’t a twin, so what’s the answer to this mystery? Look carefully at the marking along his neck. It looks exactly like the silhouette of a horse! He was born at the Flying Hall riding school in North Yorkshire, and has been named “Da Vinci.”
His mother was bought at an auction, not knowing she was pregnant, so the owner got to have two horses for the price of one as well. What makes this even more special is that the foal also has a white heart-shaped marking on his behind.
At only seven weeks old, the foal is extremely friendly and loving to his owner, as well as the owner’s children. Who knows if this marking is going to shape much the older he gets, as horses’ necks tend to get much larger and thicker as they age.
We can only hope that it will continue to look the same so that other people can enjoy the sight of these lovely markings.
Da Vinci may not understand what all the hubbub is about, but as long as he keep getting this kind of attention, he probably doesn’t mind. And we don’t mind paying it to him either.
