Poor Pit Bull Chained Most Of Her Life Gets To Taste Freedom For The First Time

More and more people are taking the extra step to prove that pit bulls are not the dangerous creatures that people make them out to be. It can be heartbreaking to know that there are some people who would take out their fear on these dogs and mistreat them. And when a dog is mistreated, they only know how to respond to fear, which causes these myths to be proven true.


Misty the pit bull is one such dog who has only known a life of being chained up, out of fear that she would attack people randomly for no reason. She couldn’t run and couldn’t play, and didn’t have anyone or anything to play with anyway.

But when she was rescued, her entire life was flipped upside down for the better. She was taken from her living situation and placed in the Good News Rehab Centre in Virginia where she’ll eventually be put up for adoption.

But before then, these wonderful photos were taken of her right after her chains were broken, and you can just see the joy on her face now that she could have the freedom to move around as she wanted.

She knew that her life was changing forever, and was glad for the people who could be there to improve on her life and show her what it really means to be a happy dog.

Hopefully we can hear great news soon that Misty has found her own forever home where she can run around and play like any dog should.

The cat’s reaction is heartbreaking after their dog died of cancer 2 weeks ago

The strong bond between cats and dogs amaze me more and more each day, they are best friends, it’s not true that there is enmity between them, it’s completely wrong, and this story proved it. This dog is living with the cat in the same home, sadly, the dog was very sick, so his owner took him to the vet.
