Puppy Smiles For Everyone While Being Rescued From Burning Apartment

Alright this story is definitely worth a smile! Sometime last week, the Baltimore County Fire Department responded to a fire that broke out in an apartment somewhere in Parkville, Maryland. The firefighters reached immediately and were able to douse out the flames to rescue the family and their puppy.

When firefighter Walter Sands picked up the puppy and brought it outside, the puppy just continued to smile while he was being rescued from the burning apartment! The people who witnessed this quickly snapped photos and uploaded them on Facebook!

This "festival" is an event that starts on June 21st of every year during the summer solstice and it lasts for 10 long horrifying days in which 10,000–15,000 dogs (as well as cats) are tortured and then consumed.
