Rescue Pig Loves Her New Bed So Much That She Thanks Her Caretaker By Doing THIS…

Patricia the pig was so happy when her caretaker and her daddy brought new wood shavings in her pen. At first she didn’t know why he brought them, but when he opens the bad, she immediately perks up and begins rolling around like a little child! Her daddy brought not one, but two bags of wood shavings and she couldn’t contain her excitement!

Residing in Santuario Gaia, Spain, Patricia’s life hasn’t always been this happy. The pink fluff was born on a factory farm and was soon abandoned there. She became paralyzed after her mom’s crate accidentally fell on her legs. Suffering from a spinal cord injury, the farm wanted to put her down, but the sanctuary stepped in to give her a second chance to life!

It’s one of the most sorrowful sounds you’ll ever hear, but it’s also a sad reality check for anyone who thinks protected species are safe from illegal poaching. In a video released this in July, a baby rhino named Davi cries for his mother after she was shot and killed by poachers. Most rhinos spend at least three years with their mothers before weaning, the Dodo reports, but Davi’s childhood was cut short at just 8 months old. The baby rhino stood close by his mother’s lifeless body until rescuers arrived. They fitted her with earplugs and a blindfold to calm his anxiety on the way to The Rhino Orphanage in South Africa.
