Neglected Dogs Seized: Owner Gave Them Fresh Water Once Per Week

From a home in rural Columbiana County in Ohio, three severely neglected dogs, all adult Saint Bernards, were rescued by the Columbiana Dog Pound. The poor dogs were found living in filthy conditions and if that wasn’t enough torture already, the owner made a ghastly claim. The poor dogs were receiving clean water, once a week only. Their water containers were never washed and their food bowls were half filled with dirt.

The living conditions were nothing less than hellish as they were left to wander and be contained in their own feces. Health care was a distant dream. Of the three dogs, one 4 year old female called Fallon had painfully irritated eyes and from the looks of it, she has spent her entire life living inside her kennel. Finch is believed to be suffering from hip dysplasia and has never received any medication from his owner to treat or control the same.

Finally Freya also suffered the same fate as Fallon, locked up in her kennel her entire life and from the looks of it, she may be suffering from an upper respiratory infection along with an ear infection. In a video released this in July, a baby rhino named Davi cries for his mother after she was shot and killed by poachers. Most rhinos spend at least three years with their mothers before weaning, the Dodo reports, but Davi’s childhood was cut short at just 8 months old.
