It is heartbreaking to hear that a pet has died after being left in the car – this is another one of those stories. What makes this story even more tragic is that the dogs was a K9 officer. I mean we have these police officers running around the streets with guns to help protect and serve – but they can’t remember to take their partner out of the car?!
This story is from Cherokee County, Georgia and the dog, Inca, was a 4-year-old Belgian Malinois. Inca and his partner were from the Cherokee County School District Police Department. The officer had gone home on a hot afternoon in Georgia and left Inca in the car while he took care of another dog in the house.
The office realized, four hours, later that Inca was still in the car. When he went out to get the dog, Inca had already died. RIP Inca. Share away, people.
