Usually when a story talks about a 911 call, we tend to think that a person was in danger and that they needed help. but let me tell you that not all 911 calls are about helping people, sometimes it’s the animals who need help. This 911 call was definitely unusual, but not rare. The San Francisco police received a call about a sea lion in distress.
Not one, but several officers went to rescue the poor animal who was found shivering and tired form what looked like a challenging ordeal. They rescued the sea lion, named it George Bison and immediately called the Marine Mammal Center, to pick him up. While the rescuers were on their way, the officers remained with the animal, who was cuddling them to warm up!

The Marine Mammal Center were pleased to see the officers go a step ahead to make sure that the poor animal was alright. We’re happy to see such stories too! Share if this made you smile!
