Lions, tigers, and bears – oh my! Lions are majestic and ferocious wild animals. Many animals quake in their ‘boots’ if they hear a lion roar – the roar of a male lion can travel several miles. The females hunt at night in groups (2 or 3), they silently stalk, surround, and then kill their prey.

This video was taken at Chiba Zoological Park, it shows a beautiful male lion behind a glass wall. The lion sees the little child in yellow walking in front of the glass, you can see the lion get ready to pounce (just like your cat at home does!) and then just when the kid turns his back, the lions rushes at the glass!

What a terrifying moment, but the glass does its job, and the child is safe. Some people claim the lion was just playing – not likely! How many lions have we seen ‘playing’ with children!? Share away, people.
