A lot of people, although we might not realize this yet, think that dogs, or any pets for that matter, are disposable. Which means, once they’re done being happy and having fun with them, especially when they’re young, they can be abandoned, surrendered or exchanged for a cuter puppy. It happens and let me tell you, we’ve covered many such stories, like Taco’s story, for example.
You might think, who exchanges senior dogs for puppies? This man did, for a free puppy. So you see, these things happen and it happened to Honey Bee too. This little darling was surrendered by her owner when she was eight and a half years old, which is 47 years in human years, if this dog was a human. For obvious reasons, Honey Bee became extremely depressed, but things were about to change for her.
