They Saw A Dog Struggling To Walk On The Road. What They Saw When They Neared Him? OMG.

The Metter Animal Shelter, in Georgia, is asking for information from the public about an animal cruelty case. A dog was found with duct tape around his face and a chain around his neck. A Facebook post gave the details, it said the dog was found on Stillmore Hwy and that the Metter Fire and Rescue had removed the chain and duct tape.

They provided the contact information of ACO Tommy Condrey at (912) 685-7877. The Candler County Sheriff’s Office announced that this was an animal cruelty investigation and asked if anyone has information to call. They added that the act was senseless and that the people responsible needed to be found.

She Visited A Chained Dog Every Day Until The Dog Disappeared. But That Led To Something Amazing.

Jes is a member of PETA, and she feels incredibly strongly about the animals in her life. For years, one such animal was a dog named Edith. Jes saw Edith chained up day after day, so she started visiting the poor dog. She would bring the loving pooch treats, food, water, and once she even brought a doghouse to the trapped dog. Then, one day Edith’s family moved and took the dog with them. PETA spent a lot of time and energy tracking Edith down, and in March of 2016 her owner’s officially gave Edith to PETA because they were moving once again.
