Some of us have experienced the love and dedication from a dog we lived with – they can offer us comfort in our times of need and can even be silly with us! A woman was riding her bike in China near the Jiangxi Institute of Engineering when she fell off her bike and died almost instantly.

Eight stray dogs that she had adopted stayed by her body after she passed. They waited for six hours until the paramedics arrived. The paramedics left her and the dogs still stood vigil near their deceased owner.

Maybe we have a new expression demonstrated by these dogs: ‘From the hearts of dogs.’ These dogs showed more compassion than the paramedics that left her in the street.
