Hidden cameras are great, they catch the most amazing things! The camera in this video wasn’t a hidden video – but it did record some pretty cool footage of a black bear! Black bears are very common in North America. They live in forests, mountains, or swamps. Black bears eat a wide variety of foods from berries, roots, and grass to fish, mammals and human food and garbage.
Takoda is a black bear, he was orphaned in Montana as a baby. He had had too much interaction with humans that it wouldn’t have been safe to release him to the wild. A few years ago Takoda moved to the Oregon Zoo in Portland. The video is of Takoda rolling and splashing in his huge wooden tub!
