Blind Cat Hugs The Phone Everytime His Favorite Pianist Plays

Is there anything better than your favorite song? Beautiful is an amazing thing. The sweet melodies, meaningful lyrics, and the emotions stirred within are all things that make us fall in love with a tune. Music can help soothe and calm us, it can help us get through the times we thought we would never survive.

If you’ve been paying attention to our cat news, you’ve likely seen a few stories about music-loving kitties. For example, this story about four kittens who showed up to support a street musician the rest of the world ignored. Or this one, about a foster kitten who sings lullabies with her sweet foster mom. Now, I’ll be the first to admit those stories are adorable— I mean, I am the one who wrote them. But when it comes to heartwarming stories about cats and music, this one definitely takes the cake.

Last year, pianist Sarper Duman made international headlines after sharing a few heartwarming videos on his Instagram. The pianist had rescued nine stray cats from the street, and the videos showed him soothing and calming them with his gorgeous piano melodies.

In Duman’s videos, the kitties always look content and relaxed, soothed by the man’s beautiful tones. Recently, however, Duman discovered his cats aren’t the only ones soothed by his music. His songs have been bringing comfort to a blind cat from nearly halfway around the world!

The video was sent to Duman by a fan and shows a blind ginger cat cuddling a cellphone as he listens to Duman’s piano playing.

At the beginning of the video, the cell phone is leaning against a pillow with one of the pianist’s videos clearly on display.

As the music begins emanating from the speakers, however, the orange cat slowly reaches over and pulls the phone towards his face.

He then nestles into the plastic, cuddling the music and deriving comfort from the sweet man’s sounds.

The short video is incredibly moving. Duman shared it on his Instagram account where it received over 84,000 likes.

Alongside the video, the pianist wrote: “This has been the most touching message I’ve ever received. This beautiful blind cat’s name is Namik. They say he acts that way whenever he is shown my videos.”

To be honest, it’s impossible to explain the emotion of this video to someone who has never seen it. The way Namik clutches the phone and cuddles the singer through the screen is one of the most moving things I’ve seen in a very long time.

Tesco: Ditch palm oil in your own-brand products!

>>>SIGN PETITION HERE<<< My name is Oscar, I’m 15 and I want to do everything I can to protect our environment .  I was really upset and angry when I found out about the huge deforestation that is involved in the palm oil industry,  and that’s why I’m calling on Tesco to ditch palm oil from their own-brand products. Iceland has already banned palm oil from their own brand products, so we know that this is possible for Tesco too. As the largest supermarket in the UK (and using over 40,000 tonnes of palm oil every year!), Tesco has an opportunity to set an example to other supermarkets and food producers that  destroying swathes of forests for palm oil is not acceptable. I run a online cause called ‘Justice4Earth’ ( @justice4earth  on Instagram and  @justice4earth  on Twitter) where I raise awareness about environmental issues. I found out that palm oil is literally everywhere: from shampoos, toothpastes and detergents to sandwiches, chocolate, biscuits a

SIGN NOW! BAN THE SALE OF CRUEL ‘LIVE ANIMAL’ KEYCHAINS

>>> Sign the petition now to tell China to ban live animal keychains! <<< Turtles, fish and lizards are being stuffed and sealed into plastic bags and sold on the streets as keychains in China. The cost of these animals lives? About $1.50. Swimming in a small pool of colored water, the animals only last until the oxygen is used up. Then, they can theoretically be released and kept as pets – although it’s doubtful that the same people who think an animal makes a nifty trinket have the slightest clue about how to properly care for them. In an interview with CNN, David Neale, animal welfare director of Animals Asia said, “Lack of food and diminishing oxygen concentrations within both the water and the small amount of air in these plastic pouches will cause the animals to die in a relatively short period of time after the pouches are sealed.” 😠So Cruel😠 ACTUAL REAL LIVE ANIMALS are being sealed into tiny plastic pouches and sold as f**king keycha

Does The Public Fear Pit Bulls? My Heart Was Torn To Pieces At 1:56.

It’s not uncommon to read or watch content that describes Pit Bull dogs as vicious, aggressive, or dangerous. But the truth is far from that. In reality, a temperament study found that Pit Bulls scored second highest in terms of tolerance. So where does all the unfair bias come from? In an effort to combat these ideas, this YouTuber conducted a social experiment where he walked through the same neighborhood twice – once with a Pit Bull and the other with an Australian Shepherd. The frightened and sometimes painfully, downright ignorant responses to the Pit Bull only proves the upsetting stereotyping against these loving dogs! Take a look at this video It’s important to remember that there are no bad dogs, only bad people. Each individual pup is different and most have nothing but love to give!
