It’s very easy to get rid of the runt because some people “know” they won’t survive. But here’s the thing – a runt may be the weakest, but that does not mean they won’t survive. With love, care and medical attention, they can be stronger than the rest, trust me. This is the story of an 11 year old girl called Breana Carsey and her dream to be a racing champion. She always wanted to raise a horse so she could fulfill her dream and so she waited for five years for her parents to agree to her idea and help her fulfill her dream. However, when her horse runt was born, nobody believed in him, only Breana did. Her dad wanted to sell the runt off, but Breana refused to do so and instead kept it, raised it and called it MJB Got Faith. What happened next is a miracle. When you rescue a dog, you’re saving them from a terrible fate. Spending the rest of their lives in shelters isn’t how any dog was meant to life. But for one family, the dog that they took home ended up giving back a lot more than they expected. Charlie was a large dog who was dropped off at a shelter because his family no longer had time for him. It showed too, as he was thirty pounds overweight, to the point where he would have seizures from panting too hard. This is the story of Iris, a 7 month old German shepherd dog who set an example by adopting a little fawn she met in the woods. Instead of chasing it, she began licking the lonely fawn, telling him that she was there to protect him. But things didn’t stop there! The fawn thought that Iris was his mommy so wherever she went, the fawn followed! Take a look at this video! This is incredible, isn’t it?! Senior dogs in shelters don’t have the best opportunities to find the loving homes that they deserve. People look at their age and decide that they don’t want a dog for a short period of time, or one that already has a lot of problems. But Chris and Mariesa fell in love with him instantly and they’re happy that they decided to take him home. DaVinci is believed to be about ten or twelve, and was rescued from the streets of Albany, New York by the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society. Once they brought him home, they changed his name to Dave and discovered a wonderful plethora of things that he loves to do. He does have some trouble getting around, but he still enjoys every minute of being with the people and other canine siblings that he loves. Patricia the pig was so happy when her caretaker and her daddy brought new wood shavings in her pen. At first she didn’t know why he brought them, but when he opens the bad, she immediately perks up and begins rolling around like a little child! Her daddy brought not one, but two bags of wood shavings and she couldn’t contain her excitement! Residing in Santuario Gaia, Spain, Patricia’s life hasn’t always been this happy. The pink fluff was born on a factory farm and was soon abandoned there. She became paralyzed after her mom’s crate accidentally fell on her legs. Suffering from a spinal cord injury, the farm wanted to put her down, but the sanctuary stepped in to give her a second chance to life! Take a look at this adorable video! It’s a common belief that fish don’t have feelings or even care much about the things around them. All they want to do is swim around and find food. But this video proves that fish are capable of some compassion when it comes to their friends being trapped. A puffer fish had been caught in a net, and rather than continuing to swim away, his buddy stayed by his side the entire time. It was only by sheer luck that these swimmers came by and noticed the fish’s plight. Using a piece of glass to cut the net free from his body, the swimmer was taking a risk, as puffer fish can use the spines covering their skin to generate a painful sting.
