In the wild, there are people who go hunting for sport, and many of them use traps in order to catch their targets. But oftentimes, these traps can lead to disastrous results, and other animals are prone to being caught in these devices than those they were intending. Division of Wildlife Resources officer Mark Elkins came across a mountain lion and discovered that something was wrong. It’s front paw was stuck in a trap meant for coyotes and bobcats, and the trap had been chained to a tree. Elkins had seen this many times before, and he knew he had the get the creature out. Take a look at this video With some assistance, he managed to get the mountain lion restrained so that he could remove the trap by hand, and it was only a matter of time before the cat took off on its own to go and lick its wounds.
